Wednesday
On Wednesday we met at “Freibad Gadderbaum“ at 7:40. Then we went about one and a half hour by bus to Hanover airport.
There were very exited because we had gone through a lot of security checks before we boarded the plane. On the plane we got a delicious cookie and a bottle of water.
Luckily we only flew about one and a half hour.
When we had arrived in London we had to search for our bus which should take us to school. This took a long time because we couldn’t find the bus.
While we were getting on the bus, we saw a famous rugby team.
After this we had to go by bus one hour to Queen Elizabeth School of boys in Barnet. There we ate pizza, which tasted really nice, and following that we met our exchange partners and went home with them.
At the end of the first day we spent a great evening with our families.

Thursday
Today we went to the London Eye. We drove for 30 minutes and saw Big Ben and the Buckingham Palace. It was so cool, because we saw everything of the city. After that, we went on a boat trip, but the water wasn’t clean.
We got out at the Tower Bridge.
We directly went to a bridge next to the Tower Bridge and took a group photo. Then we went to the Borough Market and had 30 min to ourselves.
The next stop was the Immersive Gamebox and we played Squid game in there. After this attraction we traveled back home.
It was a very fun day in London.

Friday and Tuesday
Friday and Tuesday were school days. In the first two lessons on Friday, everyone had different classes. In the next two we had art. We cut up photos of ourselves and glued them onto a sheet of paper. After that we had a short break. In the drama workshop we played games with our exchange students. During the long break there was lunch and afterwards we had a double lesson of English.

The Weekend
We spend the weekend with our host families doing activities and seeing sights in central London. Some went to famous sights like the Buckingham Palace, Chinatown, Windsor Castle or the Big Ben and some saw other parts of London like markets or parks. Other liked activities were also going to the cinema, bowling and visiting a rugby or a cricket game. Some of us met and climbed on the O2 arena or hang out in a park. We had a really good time, it was a great experience and you could really get to know the family better!

Monday
On Monday we were in the city. We saw many interesting sights, for example Buckingham Palace. Our teachers allowed us to move around Leicester Square freely for 2 1/2 hours.
